Annual Chamber Banquet
The Bellmead Chamber of Commerce sponsors an Annual Banquet each year the first Thursday in May.
Our Directors prepare a great meal which includes steaks grilled to perfection, baked potatoes, green beans, rolls, cheesecake and ice tea. This year featuring Averie Bishop, the reigning Miss Texas as our special guest.
The highlights of the evening,are always the awarding of our annual Business of the Year Award presented to an outstanding member business. As well as the presenting of several outstanding La Vega I.S.D. graduating Seniors with a $1,000 scholarship to the college of their choice. These awards are made possible by funds raised at our Annual Golf Tournament!

Annual Golf Tournament
The Bellmead Chamber of Commerce holds a Golf Tournament yearly in the Fall of each year at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course for the purpose of raising funds for college scholarships.
These scholarships are given to La Vega ISD graduating Seniors helping them attend a college of their choosing.
Golf Tournament participants enjoy a great lunch, followed by a relaxing day of golf and fellowship with comrades. Plus, they receive a Goodie Bag filled with fun and useful items donated by some of our local businesses. There is also a Silent Auction and Door Prizes available for participants.
